The album features production by Mannie Fresh and appearances by Juvenile, B.G., Turk, Big Tymers, and other Cash Money representatives. At the time of his debut album, Lil Wayne was 12 years old, leaving him to be Cash Money's youngest artist next to Turk.
His lead single "Tha Block Is Hot" was placed at #50 on VH1's 100 Greatest Hip-Hop Songs of All Time.
